When Israel has stopped defending itself

When Israel has stopped defending itself

Yesterday, Barnaby’s office emailed me a response to my correspondence asking for clarity about their ongoing support of Israel.

His response included “that the Australian Parliament in a bi-partisan statement in October last year, made clear our support for Israel’s right to self-defence, and that all parties needed to act with regard to International Law and for civilians to be protected…”

His response made no sense at all considering that the ICC has issued arrest warrants for both Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity which would indicate there has been little respect for International Law.

In terms of self-defence, if we are going to uphold International Law, Israel has no right to self-defence in the Occupied Palestinian Territories – any actions they take in these territories are unlawful! As for civilians being protected, the Lancet study in July this year estimated that a minimum of 186,000 Palestinians have been killed, over half of these are women and children.  As far as I can make out that does not indicate any protection has been given to civilians. Quite the opposite. They are being eradicated.

One day I hope that someone can explain to me the power Israel had over the Western World and why we were happy to throw International Law and humanity out the window for this vile entity.

God help us all when this Genocidal Regime has stopped ‘defending itself’.

As for Barnaby’s letter, one day when they create a Gaza Genocide Museum, I will donate it as an example of how easily ‘never again’ happened again.

When Israel has stopped defending itself

When Israel has stopped defending itself

I wonder if there will be anyone left to die,

will people with hushed whispers talk of that genocide?

When Israel has stopped defending itself

I wonder if there will be anywhere left not burning,

are humans truly incapable of ever really learning?

When Israel has stopped defending itself

I wonder, after the cruelty, savagery and insanity,

will there be anything remaining of our collective humanity?
