I asked Therese what she would say to her younger self if she could go back in time and talk to her and she said, “That no one is as ever as harsh a critic as you are. No one (that loves you) sees the extra bumps, the imperfections as you do yourself. We need to love ourselves and love the skin we are in. (Now that I am 50 I am happy to embrace my ‘natural’ hair colour.)”
The Your Face, Your Story Project is a project of inspiration celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.
