I feel as if we are living the fictional future of our past. With the announcement of an interest rate cut, there is talk of the announcement of an election. Time to gear up for the campaigns of hatred as the major parties focus on who we should hate, and who we should fear.  Trump is a great example of ruling through hatred.

In the last 24 hours, he lashed out at Ukraine blaming Zelensky for the war with Russia, completely ignoring the fact that Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. He is rewriting history and sure enough people are already out there hating Ukraine, and blaming them for all of the woes of the great old US of A.

For modern-day leaders, hatred is a useful old tool, but humanity deserves better and I hope we realise that before it is too late.

The cost of petrol keeps rising every year

Yet pollies retire on thousands a week.

Migrants, indigenous, and refugees.

So, who do we blame for the financial squeeze?

Politicians, smiling, shaking hands with the CEOs?

Not their fault it’s ten bucks for a block of cheese.

The interest rates went up 13 times

Meeting repayments was no longer guaranteed

Pollies, determined, will not tax the rich

We’ll blame migrants for the housing crisis

As more Australians give up on the Aussie dream
