Rosemary, celebrating 58 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project.
Rosemary is a born and bred Tenterfieldian who is gradually returning to the ‘field! She currently lives in Sydney, but has purchased a property in Tenterfield and is spending several months of the year here, as she works on her garden and plans on being full-time in Tenterfield in the coming years.
Rosemary wants to be involved in the Your Face, Your Story Project because the idea of being photographed scares her a bit so she wanted to refuse that fear and allow herself to step into the light.
Rosemary and I had such a wonderful conversation when we caught up and she had many reasons to be involved in the project. This one line though sums up why Rosemary is involved and I thought it was beautiful, “I love the idea that women might step into the light, that the can work together to push back on stereotypes.”
I am looking forward to Rosemary’s shoot later in the year, which will end on her back deck waiting for the sun to set!
The Your Face, Your Story Project is all about celebrating the lives of women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing. The project is now fully booked for 2024 and I look forward to sharing the beautiful faces and wonderful stories of 40 women over 40 in the coming months.
