Michelle, celebrating 58 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project

Michelle and I had a lovely time during her shoot, we visited a few places in Tenterfield and then returned to the studio to continue shooting the breeze.

One of the reasons that Michelle wanted to get involved in the Your Face, Your Story Project was to help with acceptance of her new stage of life. In the years ahead she looks forward to having time to do all the activities she wants to do.

About ageing Michelle wanted to add these beautiful words, “In some ways being older is a blessing as it takes a lot of stress and judgement motivators out of your life but also provides some negative ones. I think it makes you kinder, less judgemental and inclusive, the looking for ‘good’ in everything…. Or my favourite go to… my rose coloured glasses.”

The Your Face, Your Story exhibition will culminate with an exhibition next week which will be open to the public on Saturday 8th February from 9am to 1pm. The Your Face, Your Story Project is a project celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.

Registrations of interest are now open for the 2025 Project. The project will open to those who have registered their interest on the 17th February and to the general public on the 3rd March 2025. For information head to: https://www.mynotesfrom.com/yourfaceyourstory
