Mary, celebrating 62 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project.
Mary is another fabulous lady from Glen Innes who is travelling to Tenterfield for the Your Face, Your Story Project.
Mary is someone who is truly embracing and celebrating her age. Mary told me that she feels blessed more and more each day. I asked her what the biggest positive thing about her age was and she replied, "I am young enough to enjoy my cherished grandchildren, wise enough to be my bohemian colourful self and fortunate enough to be able to give generously every day to my community."
When I asked Mary what the biggest negative thing about her age was for her she told me that there was truly nothing negative at all and that she absolutely loved this stage of her life which is reason enough to make the Your Face, Your Story Project a true celebration!
The Your Face, Your Story Project is all about celebrating the lives of women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing. The project is now fully booked for 2024 and I look forward to sharing the beautiful faces and wonderful stories of 40 women over 40 in the coming months.
