Lexie, celebrating 70 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project.
We did Lexie's shoot a little while ago and Lexie let me know last night which images were her favourite from the shoot. That is definitely one of my favourite parts of this project!
What is amazing about the Your Face, Your Story Project is what it means to the incredible women involved in it. Everyone is different, but similar threads are running through everyone's responses that fill my heart with joy.
When I asked Lexie what the Your Face, Your Story Project means to her she replied as follows:
"That I have the confidence to tell my story and show that age doesn't matter. It's what you feel inside that matters and shapes who you are."
Lexie nailed it and summed up why this project is so important to me.
The Your Face, Your Story Project is all about celebrating women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.
I look forward to sharing the faces and stories of 40 incredible women over 40 in the coming months.
