Leanne, celebrating 58 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project
Leanne wanted to get involved with the Your Face, Your Story Project because she loved the idea of being the face/voice of middle-aged women and to tell them to conquer their fears and go for it as life is too short.
Leanne and I enjoyed a lovely morning just before Christmas for her project shoot. We met at the studio at sunrise to spend a little time on Kildare Road before returning to the studio. I asked Leanne what she would say to her younger self if she could go back in time and talk to her and she replied, “I would tell her she is stronger and wiser than she thinks and is a very independent woman.”
I have 6 shoots remaining for the project which will end with a celebratory exhibition in February. The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday 8th February from 9am to 1pm. The Your Face, Your Story Project is a project celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.
