Kylie, celebrating 49 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project.
Kylie and I had a lovely Tuesday morning just shooting the breeze for her project shoot. Kylie is one of the most creative people I know and is the owner of Peakvue Studio where she creates the most divine ceramics and other creations. So, part of her shoot had to happen in her studio, her happy place.
I can’t remember what we were talking about, but these shoots always seem to involve a great deal of laughter. There are tears as well but that is usually followed by more laughter. I can’t remember what we were talking about, but this picture made me smile.
When I asked Kylie what the biggest positive thing about her age was, she replied with, “I feel like I am more authentically myself.” I thought that was lovely and it is a big part of why this project is so important to me.
The Your Face, Your Story Project is a project of inspiration celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.
