Kath, celebrating 51 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project
Kath travelled from Mudgee to be part of the Your Face, Your Story Project and it was lovely to spend a little time with her.
I asked Kath what the biggest positive thing about her age was and she replied, “Being at a stage of knowing who and what is important to me and knowing what and who to let go of. and being able to appreciate all the positive things in my life, which I am very grateful for.”
And her words for herself if she was able to go back in time and talk to her younger self were beautiful. “Be kind to yourself …. Focus your energy on what makes you happy and not trying to keep everyone else happy. It is not only impossible but exhausting.”
The Your Face, Your Story exhibition will culminate with an exhibition in early February - open to the public on Saturday 8th February from 9am to 1pm. The Your Face, Your Story Project is a project celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.
Registrations are now open for the 2025 Project. The project will open to those who have registered their interest on the 17th February and to the general public on the 3rd March 2025. For information head to: https://www.mynotesfrom.com/yourfaceyourstory
