Karen, a Water Warrior

In Karen’s words:

A friend had mentioned to me how great the Metaqua classes are for fitness. At present I am unable to do my regular Parkruns and trail hikes so I thought I would try Metaqua.

Due to Osteoarthritis, I had a Total Hip Replacement in August this year which meant no running for 6 months!!  At my 6-week post op check I was encouraged to move, so I joined Metaqua. What an excellent class! My hip benefits from movement in the water, I feel my muscles working and becoming stronger plus there is the added advantage of all my muscles getting a great workout. After 5 classes I am already feeling stronger and fitter. Metaqua is perfect for me.

Cheers, Karen.”

The Water Warrior Project is a joint project of inspiration between Amanda, Metaqua Instructor from @swimminginthefield, and Lara Flanagan, Photographer from My Notes From Gallery, Studio, & Store.
