Jacqueline, celebrating 56 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project.
I love it when we can stop looking at ourselves through a critical lens and actually start to see what it is about us that makes us special.
When Jacqueline described this image from her shoot, she used the word ‘purposeful’ and I think that is such a wonderful word. It was also Archie’s favourite image from Jacqueline’s shoot, so I had to share it today.
When I asked Jacqueline why she wanted to get involved in the Your Face, Your Story Project she replied with the following which I thought was so beautiful and summed up why this project is so important to me.
“Mature women are a vastly untapped reservoir or lived experience, beauty, and strength. Our time to shine is now.”
And when I asked Jacqueline if there was anything else she would like to add, she replied, “The best is yet to come.”
The best is yet to come, what a beautiful mantra to live by.
The Your Face, Your Story Project is my annual inspiration project that I launched this year. It is a project of inspiration celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.
The current 2024 project will be culminating with the project exhibition in February 2025.
