Dianne, a Water Warrior.
In Dianne’s words:
“My name is Dianne Ensinger I am 57 and I am a gut health & weight loss coach, online and one-on-one mentoring. I joined the Metaqua classes after I found Amanda's post on the community page.
I did some research and knew that this was the answer for me to strengthen my body & continue my health journey.
In 2019, I had a workplace injury that after two operations on my neck left me with chronic pain & limited movement. Struggling with chronic pain caused me to gain weight from medication and emotional eating.
My weight skyrocketed and my health & hormonal emotions along with my mental health plummeted.
I found a program that was gut health & weight loss online with one-on-one mentoring. I was given a meal plan to follow that was made by a dietitian a free app - a recipe site & support groups filled with like-minded people doing the same thing. All I had to pay for was my nutrition to support my body. I showed my doctor who approved it all & I lost 9 kg in my first round to then reach my goal weight of 17 kg in the second round. I felt so great that I decided to start helping other women who were struggling to lose weight and regain their strength to empower them to move their bodies
I reached out to Amanda & booked a one-on-one training lesson class.
It was amazing as she spent over an hour tailoring the exercises to fit my abilities. I'm now doing 2-3 sessions in the pool a week. I don’t suffer from any soreness, but I can feel my body strengthening weekly.
I believe that the two programs go hand in hand.
I have met a lovely group of ladies of all ages. We all have that one thing in common we want to move our bodies & for some to remove that excess weight without having to smash the gym or run a marathon.
Even if you are not a water baby this is one class you need to try.”
