Conversations with Oday

Sometimes I find the enormity of what Oday faces overwhelming, especially when I see my son Archie heading off to school and I remind myself that Oday is but a few years older than him, that his life was turned upside down by constant wars and he was given the task of leaving Gaza a few years back to try to provide financial support for his family. Now he is alone in another country, desperately trying to keep his family alive whilst they face the unimaginable.

I am proud to call him my friend. If you can help at all, it would make a huge difference to his beautiful family who are in dire need. It would also send a message of kindness, and we should all be able to give that.

To help Oday and his family the best way is to donate directly to their fundraising accounts:

Oday’s GoFundMe Account supports his whole family and is their only means of support:

Oday’s sister Ameera also has a fundraiser for her and Oday’s nephew Amir:

You can donate to me at the shop.
