Conversations with Oday

I can’t even begin to imagine the enormity of what has been and what lies ahead for the people of Palestine. I wonder if that is part of the problem with the silence and hatred of so many people when it comes to Palestine. They can’t imagine it and they don’t want to? Regardless of that, I try to imagine it every day. I try to imagine if that was me, if those children were mine, if that was my home and because I do, silence is not only impossible, but also inhumane.

At 21, my friend Oday is the sole provider for his beloved family in Gaza and needs our help. If you can help at all, no donation too small, it would make such a difference to people in dire need, and it would send a message of kindness.

The road ahead is long, but Oday and his family are determined.

To help Oday and his family the best way is to donate directly to their fundraising accounts:

Oday’s GoFundMe Account which supports his whole family and is their only means of support:

To help Oday’s sister Ameera and his nephew Amir:

You can donate to me at the shop.
