Israel has notified the United Nations that in 48 hours their ban on UNRWA will come into effect. Israel has the full backing of the United States. These two entities are now telling the United Nations what to do and International Law is a thing of the past. As an occupying power it is Israel’s obligations under international law that they provide for those whose lands they occupy. They have never fulfilled this obligation, and it is only UNRWA that has looked after the Palestinians since its foundation in 1949. This ban will effectively sign the death warrant for hundreds and thousands of Palestinians. Now more than ever Palestinians will need the help of the world.

Oday is my friend. At 21, he is the sole provider for his beloved family in Gaza and needs our help. His dream is to help them evacuate or help them rebuild. Ultimately, he just wants them to be safe.

If you can help at all, no donation too small, it would make such a difference to people who are in dire need, and it would send a message of kindness.

To help Oday and his family the best way is to donate directly to their fundraising accounts:

You can donate directly to Oday’s GoFundMe Account which supports his whole family

You can donate directly to Oday’s sister Ameera to support her and her young son, Oday’s nephew Amir.

You can donate to me at the shop. The smallest donation for us, can make the biggest difference to Oday and his family.

Thank you,

xxxLara
