The ceasefire that is not a ceasefire.
For the second day in a row Palestinians, exhausted and displaced, continue to gather at the closest point separating them from Northern Gaza. Part of the ceasefire deal was that they could return home. Part of the ceasefire deal was also that the killing would stop. The longing for home is so great that even though there is nothing left, all they want to do is to return home, even if it is only to find their loved ones so they can be buried.
Oday is my friend. At 21, he is the sole provider for his beloved family in Gaza and needs our help. His dream is to help them evacuate or help them rebuild. Ultimately, he just wants them to be safe.
If you can help at all, no donation too small, it would make such a difference to people who are in dire need, and it would send a message of kindness.
To help Oday and his family the best way is to donate directly to their fundraising accounts:
You can donate directly to Oday’s GoFundMe Account which supports his whole family
You can donate directly to Oday’s sister Ameera to support her and her young son, Oday’s nephew Amir.
You can donate to me at the shop. The smallest donation for us, can make the biggest difference to Oday and his family.
Thank you,
xxxLara
