Words by Oday – follow on IG @oday.7gaza

Very few words today so I am just hanging onto Oday’s words.

I saw this morning that the Trump has ordered the US’s exit from the World Health Organisation. They obviously know what they are doing considering they are the only ‘developed’ country in the world without Universal Healthcare. Maybe they could put that money into healthcare for their citizens, but I am sure those funds will be directed towards bombing the shit out of other countries.  A suggestion perhaps, if you don’t want migrants as your biggest import, then stop making bombs your biggest bloody export.

The ceasefire that is not a ceasefire continues in Gaza. People are returning to homes that are no longer there and searching through rubble for loved ones lost. The genocide of the Palestinian people continues in the West Bank and the atrocities are heart breaking. I don’t know what is going to happen, but I do know Oday and his family will need help. They have nothing. Nothing but beautiful hopeful hearts.

Oday is my friend. At 21, he is the sole provider for his beloved family in Gaza and needs our help. His dream is to help them evacuate or help them rebuild. Ultimately, he just wants them to be safe.

If you can help at all, no donation too small, it would make such a difference to people who are in dire need, and it would send a message of kindness.

To help Oday and his family the best way is to donate directly to their fundraising accounts:

You can donate directly to Oday’s GoFundMe Account which supports his whole family

You can donate directly to Oday’s sister Ameera to support her and her young son, Oday’s nephew Amir. Follow on IG: @ameeraaida995

You can donate to me at the shop. The smallest donation for us, can make the biggest difference to Oday and his family.

Thank you,

xxxLara
