Conversations with Oday

I hadn’t heard from Oday for 3 days and have been very worried with the horrors happening in Northern Gaza and Jabalia Refugee Camp. I was so relieved to hear from him and his sister Ameera today. What almost broke me though was when he asked me, “How was your day?”  Oday, Ameera and so many people I have met this year have taught me more about humanity than words can ever say.

Oday is my friend. If you can help at all, I would be forever grateful, even if it just means donating the price of a coffee. Anything would help.

Oday is trying to keep his family alive. I met @oday_aburaida through @projectlovebrocade, a worldwide initiative amplifying the voices of the people of Palestine.

Any money raised assists Oday's family with the basics that in Gaza mean the difference between life and death.

There are many ways you can help Oday and his family.

You can donate directly to his GoFundMe Account

You can donate to me at the shop.

Oday's beautiful sister Ameera and young son are on Instagram @ameeraida995 and her fundraising link is https://spot.fund/m734llsc

I have an ebook version of a small poetry collection called Poems of Palestine:

I am selling Flower Inspiration Cards:

You can follow Oday's relief project on Instagram: @gap_gaza

This project has already made two life-saving deliveries of water to Northen Gaza and is currently working on a delivery of meals.

You can donate directly to this relief project

Thank you,

xxxLara
