Simple wishes from an unimaginable world. Despite it all Oday still has the most simple wishes for himself and his family.
I am not sure my wishes would be so simple, hopeful, or beautiful if I was facing everything that is being faced by Oday and his family.
Oday's family has been displaced 4 times in the last month. At 21 years old he has been tasked with being the sole provider to his large beloved family in Gaza. The first priority is simply keeping them alive with money for shelter, water, food, and medicine and then he dreams of getting them to safety.
I met my friend @oday_aburaida through @projectlovebrocade; a worldwide initiative amplifying the voices of Palestinian people and providing support through awareness and fundraising.
