Conversations with Oday
Oday is my friend, only 21 years old and the sole provider for his large, beloved family in Gaza. Not only is he my friend, he is also pretty amazing. In early August he mentioned that he wanted to start a relief project for Gaza. And only one month later he had raised funds, assembled a team on the ground and this week they orchestrated their first delivery of much-needed water to Northern Gaza.

At present, I am focussed on assisting him to raise funds to keep his family alive. Later, I hope to help Oday with his ongoing relief projects which the area will need for a very long time to combat the continuing destruction and devastation.
The money we raise for Oday's family goes towards the basics that we all probably take for granted but in Gaza, can mean the difference between life and death. Shelter. Food. Water. Medicine.
