Chez, celebrating 68 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project.
One of the common denominators or all the incredible women of the Your Face, Your Story Project is that they have all dealt with trauma or challenges of some kind, which is to be expected once you pass the big 40. The other thing that ties all these fabulous females together is that they all remind me in same way of the concept that we can’t control what happens to us, but we can control how we react to it.
This group of 40 women is a constant reminder for me of bravery, resilience, choosing joy and living as well as you can. Chez shared with me some lovely quotes and I love this quote by Regina Britt, “no matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up.”
Chez loves colour so colourful clothes, locations and backdrops were very much a part of her shoot.
The Your Face, Your Story Project is a project of inspiration, celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing. The 2024 project will culminate with an exhibition in early February.
