Brenda, celebrating 63 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project

I asked Brenda what the biggest positive thing was for her about ageing, and she replied, “More freedom of choice about how and with whom I spend my time. And the wisdom that comes from experience.”

The gift of wisdom that comes with ageing was a recurring theme during the 2024 Your Face, Your Story Project. Wouldn’t it be lovely if we could gift that wisdom to our younger selves.

Brenda’s advice to her younger self, if she could go back in time to talk to her, “That you are worthy. That you are enough. To be bold and brave enough to travel a different path and live the life that you dream of, rather than living up to the expectations/demands of others.  Don’t become a chronic people pleaser.  And when it comes down to it, you’ll be ok.”

Brenda was one of the fabulous females of the 2024 Your Face, Your Story Project. I am now working on the 2025 Your Face, Your Story Project.  You can find full details on my website, but a quick overview is that registrations are now open, the project will run from now until mid-January 2026 for shoots and will culminate with a celebratory exhibition on Friday 6th February 2026.

Six females have already registered so I am looking for 34 more!!!
