Annette, celebrating 60 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project
Annette used the Your Face, Your Story Project to not only celebrate herself but also her long-term friendship with Michele and both travelled from different parts of SE Queensland and used their project shoot as an excuse to have a Tenterfield weekend. I am very excited that they are returning to Tenterfield for the project exhibition next month.
I asked the project participants a series of the same questions and one of my favourite questions was this one,
If you could go back in time and talk to your younger self what would you tell her? Annette’s response was, “To be more outgoing and believe in my own abilities.”
There have been so many beautiful nuggets of wisdom in these answers and constant reminders to believe in ourselves more.
The Your Face, Your Story exhibition will culminate with an exhibition in early February which will be open to the public on Saturday 8th February from 9am to 1pm. The Your Face, Your Story Project is a project celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.
